Leslie completed his Bachelor of Dental Science in 1993 from the University of Rand, South Africa and has been in practice for 23 yrs. He worked in two private practices and later as a Principal in his own practice. His initial interests were in oral surgery and paediatric dentistry and spent considerable time treating children and adults under general anaesthetic in hospital. In 1998, he completed his Diploma in Paediatric Dentistry from the University of Stellenbosch, Cape Town.
In 1998, he moved to London to join Central Dental Care treating both NHS and private patients. In 2006, he became and Partner and Principal Dentist of Central Dental Care. He is also the Clinical Director and is responsible for ensuring latest regulations are implemented for delivering safe and effective care.
Leslie is also our resident dental implantologist providing all aspects of Implant treatment, including bone grafting, immediate implants and full mouth reconstruction. His early interest in oral surgery led him to develop an interest in Dental Implantology. He initially trained with the International Congress for Oral Implantology (ICOI) in 2004 and completed his clinical training with one of the pioneers of UK Implantology (Eddie Scher) and later at Mount Vernon Dental Specialists. In 2007, he completed, the GIFT Implant Programme under the mentorship of Stewart Harding in Harley Street. In 2010, Leslie was awarded Master of Science in Implant Dentistry (Merit) from the University of Warwick. In 2014, he completed the Advanced Certificate in Soft tissue management and bone grafting from The University of Vienna.
He was previously an Honorary Clinical Supervisor and Mentor for the Warwick Implant Training Programme. He previously worked with Martin Delahaye at his Harley Street Practice providing case planning and surgical placements of dental implants. He is a member of the Academy of Dental Implantology (UK).
Endodontics (Root Canal Treatment)
He has extensive training and skill in orthograde and surgical endodontics treating more complex cases using state of the art equipment.
He is also a Certified Laser Dentist and trained with the British Institute of Laser Density. Lasers have many uses in dentistry such as treatment of gum disease and other surgical procedures which are less invasive and more effective than conventional procedures.
Leslie is a certified Dental Hypnotherapist and NLP practitioner and trained at the British Society of Medical and Dental Hypnosis. He is registered with the General Hypnotherapy Council. He assimilates this skill in practice treating anxious or phobic patients and for other behavioral conditions.
He likes athletics, badminton, loves cooking and spending time with his family. He and his family are involved with numerous charities both locally and internationally and finds immense joy in helping others.
Omar Bhutta is a distinguished professional who earned his degree from King’s College London in the year 2000. After completing his vocational training, he relocated to London and joined Central Dental Care as an associate, eventually rising to become a partner in the practice in 2006.
His commitment to education is evident in his role as a clinical assistant at King’s College London from 2003 to 2004, where he contributed to teaching dental undergraduates primary dental care.
Currently serving as Central Dental Care’s Human Resources Director, Omar plays a pivotal role in managing and developing the dental team. His responsibilities extend to overseeing their training, continuous assessment, and ensuring their knowledge remains current with the latest techniques and developments in dentistry.
In recognition of his expertise and dedication to the field, Omar was appointed to the General Dental Council’s Fitness to Practice Panel in 2015, showcasing his commitment to maintaining high standards within the dental profession.
Adding to his impressive academic achievements, Omar successfully completed his Masters in Clinical Dentistry in 2016, obtaining an M.Clin.Dent from King’s College London with a focus on fixed and removable prosthodontics.
In 2017, Omar Bhutta was appointed as an educational supervisor by Health Education England, highlighting his dedication to advancing dental education. In this role, he trains and mentors dental graduates during their crucial first year post-graduation, combining professional fulfillment with personal inspiration. Omar’s commitment to cultivating excellence is evident in his focus on imparting not just technical knowledge but also instilling professional ethos and values. Through his mentorship, he ensures new dental professionals are equipped with clinical skills and a strong foundation in ethical, patient-centered care, leaving a lasting impact on the early careers of aspiring dentists and contributing significantly to dental education.
Beyond his professional commitments, Omar has also demonstrated his philanthropic side by contributing to charitable causes. He actively participated in initiatives such as Crisis, a charity aiding the homeless, and Smiles for Romania, a children’s charity, showcasing his commitment to making a positive impact beyond the confines of his professional sphere.
Ohsun graduated in dentistry from King’s College London in 2013 and gained experience in General Dental Practice, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, and Paediatric Dentistry before starting three-year Specialty Training in Orthodontics at the Royal London Dental Hospital and Ashford Hospital in 2019. Following completion of Specialty Training in 2022, he was awarded with Membership in Orthodontics (the Royal College of Surgeons of England) and a Doctorate degree (Queen Mary University of London).
He is currently in a two-year Consultant training post at King’s College Hospital and Queen Mary’s Hospital Sidcup, where he enjoys teaching Postgraduate Trainees and treating complex multidisciplinary cases. He is also involved in the British Orthodontic Society as the Trainees’ Representative on the Specialty Advisory Committee, where he discusses matters related to the curriculum.
Ohsun takes a gentle, friendly approach with his patients, whilst striving for quality and excellence in his work. Outside work, Ohsun has an endless list of interests and hobbies, in particular travelling, skiing, triathlon and playing piano. He loves taking on challenges – recently cycled from Trafalgar Square to Paris in less than 24 hours to fundraise for the Smile Train, a cleft lip and palate charity.
Anand is a general dentist who graduated from the University of Birmingham. With a particular focus on restorative and aesthetic dentistry, he is known for his skills and commitment to conservative dental practices. His approach revolves around the preservation of natural teeth, enhancing both their aesthetics and functionality, all while prioritising patient education.
He creates a calm and comfortable environment conducive to helping anxious patients overcome their fears making the patient journey as smooth as possible.
He has a keen interest in aesthetic dentistry including composite bonding and veneers. Along with a passion for continuous development and learning, Anand is set to complete a Postgraduate Certification in Advanced Aesthetic Restorative Dentistry.
Outside of dentistry Anand enjoys keeping fit playing sports such as basketball and squash.
Toral is a dedicated overseas dentist and Dental hygienist and Therapist(UK)with over 6 years experience in the dental field. She is passionate about educating patients on the importance of oral hygiene & committed to provide the best patient care through high-quality services.
Being a skilled team player who understands the importance of collaborative care for the best treatment outcomes for patients, she is also experienced in working with children, adolescents, and adults, as well as those who suffer from dental anxiety.
She is highly devoted to remaining up to date on the latest techniques to provide the highest level of patient care possible through various certification courses.
Kritee qualified as a Dental Hygienist and Dental Therapist from the University of Portsmouth in 2016 with a first class honours degree.
Kritee works at Central Dental Care as a dental hygienist to help patients maintain good oral health. She focuses a lot in providing oral hygiene education to patients alongside their tailored dental hygiene treatments. She is meticulous with her work as well as gentle and compassionate with her patients. She can communicate in English, Nepali and Hindi.
Kritee values her social life therefore whilst not working, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She also has 2 pet cats with whom she loves to spend time with.
Besides these, Kritee enjoys travelling around the world, experiencing new food and culture.
