Treatment Plans

The treatment plan we form with you allows you to understand the types of treatment that will be required, the specific order in which they will be delivered and the options that you may have to consider in making the choice that suits you best.

The treatment plan is an ongoing, flexible document that is always decided by the dentist and the patient together. Other team members will contribute to this, as necessary and it will include input from any specialists who are to be involved in treatment at different stages. The plan is flexble and can be adapted to change with your changing needs.

The plan also allows all members of the team to view the treatment requirements, the exact stage where treatment has got to and where and when future treatments are scheduled. Our team visualise the treatment plan as a series of appointments that allow certain stages of treatment to be successfully completed before commencing further elements.

Dr Delahaye has pioneered the use of a system called 'The Patient Journey' at Central Dental Care. This software programme models your treatment course as a flow diagram of activity. It allows you and our team to visualise where you are in your course of treatment, especially in complicated cases in which you may be receiving specialist care outside of the practice. It also provides you with other information such as appointment times and locations and payment schedules.
