Partners Dr Martin Delahaye BSc BDS LDSRCS Partner Martin Delahaye qualified from Guys Hospital in 1978 and then from the Royal College of Surgeons (Eng) in 1979. He entered dentistry as a graduate with a degree in Biochemistry and Physiology. He is the principal of practices in Harley Street and Wembley and is managing director of both. With a special interest in practice management he is currently the Chairman of the Advisory Board of the Confederation of Dental Employers and is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine. In addition, he is a founder of Harley Street Direct Ltd., an umbrella organisation that provides support to all West End clinicians in the field of clinical governance and practice compliance. In June 2004 the practice team won an Investors in People Award with Martin as their champion. Dr Leslie Padayachee BDS HDip (paeds) Partner Leslie Padayachee completed his Bachelor of Dental Science degree from the University of Rand, South Africa in 1993. He practiced for 5 years in South Africa as a principal in his practice and completed his Postgraduate Diploma in Paediatric Dentistry from the University of Stellenbosch, Cape Town in 1998. He moved to England in 1999 and joined CDC. In 2006, he became a partner in the practice. He is the clinical director and ensures that CDC follows all regulations and implements what is considered best practice to ensure safe and effective treatment of patients. Leslie is highly skilled in endodontics and undertakes all complex root canal surgery in the practice. He has over 13 years experience with modern endodontic procedures and the use of state-of-the-art equipment in this field. He also practices hypnosis and NLP anxiety management, dental phobias, other phobias and habits. He is a registered member of the British Society of Clinical and Academic Hypnosis through which he has undertaken his training. Leslie is also currently focused on Implant Dentistry and has introduced a Dental implant practice at CDC. He is a member of Association of Dental Implantology. He is currently undertaking his masters degree in Implant Dentistry at the University of Warwick. Dr Omar Bhutta BDS Partner Omar Bhutta qualified from Kings College London in 2000 and joined Central Dental Care in June 2003, becoming a partner in November 2006. He was also fortunate to continue his academic development as a member of the Primary Dental Team at Kings College London involved in the teaching of final year undergraduate dental students. Omar is Central Dental Care’s Human Resources Director and oversees the management and development of the dental team, incorporating their training and continuous assessment and ensuring they are always up to date with the latest techniques and have knowledge of the latest developments in dentistry. He was an integral member helping the surgery to achieve the Investors in People accreditation in 2007. As part of the management team, Omar is involved in the strategic business planning and development for Central Dental Care. Silva BDSDr Ruani Silva qualified as a dental surgeon from UMDS in 1993 and has been working in general dental practice ever since, 14 years of which have been at Central Dental Care. She is married, with two young children and time permitting enjoys swimming and travelling.Dr Michael Lichtig BDSMichael has worked in Haringey since 1977 but in 1986 he moved to Highgate working in his own general practice. In 1997 a part-time opportunity arose at CDC and I have worked on a Thursday ever since.Working in Highgate and Wembley make a pleasant combination, providing useful contact with colleagues for discussion of cases and valuable training.Dr Alan Usiskin BDSAlan came to join Central Dental Care early in 2008.Dr Rosalind Robins BDS LDSRCSRosalind Robins joined the dental team one year ago.
